Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals

The CanMNT will play twice during the November international window, facing Guatemala in a home-and-away series to determine who advances to the Concacaf Nations League semifinals in 2027.

  • Friday, Nov. 13 at Guatemala - 9 pm ET | Manuel Felipe Carrera Stadium (Guatemala City, Guatemala)
  • Monday, Nov. 16 vs. Guatemala - 8 pm ET | BMO Field (Toronto, Ontario)

MLS call-ups

Of the 10 MLS call-ups, eight players were part of Canada's 2026 World Cup team.

Toronto FC defender Richie Laryea and Real Salt Lake defender Luc de Fougerolles were key starters during the CanMNT's historic run, while LAFC teammates Mathieu Choinière and Jacob Shaffelburg also featured.

Meanwhile, legendary Toronto midfielder Jonathan Osorio returns to the national team picture after missing the September/October international window.

Orlando City goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau is back in the squad after missing the September/October international window due to a personal matter. Inter Miami CF shotstopper Dayne St. Clair, who started two of the three matches last month, keeps his place.

In defense, Portland Timbers center back Joel Waterman also returns to the team for the first time since the 2026 World Cup and joins Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Ralph Priso in the backline.

Toronto defender Richard Chukwu, who made his international debut last window, is another defensive option.

MLS exports

Eight players have spent time with an MLS club or academy, highlighted by the Villarreal CF trio of Tajon Buchanan (New England Revolution), Nathan Saliba (CF Montréal) and Tani Oluwaseyi (Minnesota United FC).

Vancouver Whitecaps alum and Bayern Munich superstar Alphonso Davies is back with the CanMNT for the first time since a brief cameo against South Africa in the 2026 World Cup Round of 32, his only action at the tournament.

Former Columbus Crew striker Jacen Russell-Rowe, who now features for French side Toulouse, is an option for Les Rouges up top.

Notably, former Orlando City striker Cyle Larin (Southampton) is unavailable due to a hamstring injury he picked up in camp during the September/October window.
