Petrasso joined Toronto FC's academy in 2013 at the age of 12.

In 2018, he signed his first professional contract and graduated to Toronto's reserve team, where he played one season in the USL (2018), then one season in USL League One (2019).

The North York, Ontario native officially signed with Toronto FC's first team, playing 27 games and registering three assists in all competitions during the 2022 season. He helped his team win the Canadian Championship that same year.

Petrasso was then traded to Orlando City SC on November 9, 2022. In the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he played 17 matches, including two in the Concacaf Champions Cup and one in the Leagues Cup.
