Team highlights

LAFC got their swagger back, returning to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Austin FC. Son Heung-Min (1g/2a) and Denis Bouanga (2g) came up clutch, and Bouanga became the second player in MLS history to score 80 goals over a four-season span.

Meanwhile, Nashville SC moved closer to their first-ever Supporters' Shield title and the MLS single-season points record. B.J. Callaghan's side matched the league's longest single-season home winning streak (10), cruising to a 4-0 win over Sporting Kansas City thanks to 1g/1a nights from All-Stars Hany Mukhtar and Andy Nájar.

Guilherme bolstered his Newcomer of the Year case with 2g/1a in Houston Dynamo FC's wild 3-3 draw at San Diego FC, becoming the second Brazilian player in MLS history to record at least 25 goal contributions in their debut season.

Bruno Damiani (2g/1a) starred as the Philadelphia Union extended their unbeaten run to 14 games, including eight straight wins, with a 3-1 comeback victory at Chicago Fire FC.

Dor Turgeman bagged a brace to secure the New England Revolution's playoff place in a 3-2 road triumph over FC Cincinnati, while LA Galaxy midfielder Marco Reus produced a vintage 1g/1a performance in a 2-0 win over the Portland Timbers.

Defenders also got in on the goalscoring act. D.C. United's Silvan Hefti netted the game-winner in a 2-1 victory against Red Bull New York, and Canadian international Luc de Fougerolles blasted home his first MLS goal in Real Salt Lake's 1-1 draw vs. the San Jose Earthquakes.

Finally, FC Dallas goalkeeper Daniel stood on his head with seven crucial saves to help earn a 1-0 win vs. Seattle Sounders FC and book a postseason spot.
