The Philadelphia Union continued their incredible form in the Eastern Conference with their sixth consecutive win: a 4-2 triumph over Orlando City, courtesy of a Milan Iloski hat trick and 1g/2a from Indiana Vassilev.
Iloski became the third player in club history to record multiple hat tricks in a season as the Union tied an MLS record with 32 points from their last 12 games, maintaining their unbeaten record (10W-0L-2D) since the FIFA World Cup break.
Nashville SC also continued their record-setting pace, becoming the second-fastest team in league history to notch 60 points in a season (27 games) as captain Hany Mukhtar led a 2-0 win over Toronto FC with both goals en route to a century of MLS tallies.
In their respective 3-1 victories, CF Montréal striker Prince Owusu and San Jose Earthquakes striker Preston Judd each scored a brace to become the fourth player in their club's history to net 15+ goals in a regular-season campaign. Montréal downed FC Cincinnati, while San Jose overcame the Portland Timbers.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC star Thomas Müller's goal and assist were canceled out by a brace from D.C. United's Kimito Nono, as the cross-conference foes battled to a 3-3 draw.
Defenders joined the goalscoring action with towering headers from corner kicks. Justin Haak helped keep the LA Galaxy's resurgence going in a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rapids, and Osaze Urhoghide guided FC Dallas to a sixth straight unbeaten result in a 1-0 victory against LAFC.
Jack Elliott provided the game-winning assist following a corner kick in Chicago Fire FC's 1-0 win at Charlotte FC in Walmart Saturday Showdown.
Sporting Kansas City have signs of life with their second upset win in three games, downing Houston Dynamo FC, 2-0, away from home behind five saves from Stefan Cleveland.
Lastly, interim head coach Laurent Courtois led the Columbus Crew to a thrilling 2-1 triumph over Inter Miami CF on Sunday Night Soccer presented by Continental Tire, highlighted by a 98th-minute winning goal for the club's third consecutive victory (all competitions).
