Major League Soccer (MLS) today announced the 30 competitors for the 2026 eMLS Championship. After the Open Qualifier circuit across North America, the field is set for the journey toward the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship operated in partnership with ESL FACEIT Group (EFG).
Each of the 30 MLS clubs selected a champion from the talent pool identified during the qualifying window. These players carry the badge of their cities as they enter the Regular Season and compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
The Road to Columbus: The Regular Season
On March 7 and March 8, all 30 players will compete in an Online Swiss Tournament managed by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). This stage narrows the field. The Top 8 players reach the 2026 eMLS Cup Finals.
The eMLS Cup Finals
The season ends on Saturday, April 12, at EFG’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The final eight players travel for a two-day residency. This includes a Media Day to showcase the players and a live studio show for the 2026 eMLS Cup Finals. A champion will be crowned and two slots for the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship will be secured.
